Harmonic Dictation: I and V

For each of the phrases recorded below, notate the outer parts and provide chord symbols below the bass line.  Notate the uppermost part on a treble clef and the bass line on a bass clef.  

1. G is tonic, and the meter is duple.

 

2. G is tonic, and the meter is quadruple.

 

3. The tonic is G, the meter is quadruple.  There is a downward leap in the uppermost part between the first and second notes.

 

4. The tonic is G, the meter is quadruple.
